Saint Anthony Industries SWT Tool

Saint Anthony Industries SWT Tool

The SWT Tool from Saint Anthony Industries is a two-in-one accessory that combines the traditional tamper and distributor. With a unique one-sided wedge that terminates into a flat surface, when set properly, simply place the SWT Tool on top of a freshly ground shot, twist, and pull your shot. The tool eliminates the variability introduced by hand tamping while eliminating the necessity of distributing as a separate step in the process.

Each SWT Tool is made from high quality stainless steel with depth setting indicators.

Available in 53.3mm and 58.3mm Sizes

Minimum Tamping Depth 5mm / Maximum Tamping Depth 14mm

How to Use the SWT Tool:

It's important to properly set the depth of your SWT Tool to ensure successful use. Based on your dose, the depth will need to be adjusted, otherwise an uneven impression will be left on the surface of your puck. When properly set, the surface will be evenly tamped and polished.

  1. Determine your dose (weight) first β€” either 16g, 18g, etc β€” so you can adjust the tamping depth accordingly.
  2. Grasp and unscrew the handle on top while holding the center spacer.
  3. Zero out the tool by holding the middle and loosen the top. Then screw the base of the tool into the unit until you can't move it any more.
  4. From there, turn the tool to whatever number you choose. Each full cycle counts up. So to get to 12, do one full cycle through ten and then stop at two.
  5. To secure the size, tighten the top!
