Thanks to the thermoblock boiler, the Classic is ready to brew in under a minute, and switching between steam and brew modes takes mere seconds as well. The single- and double-shot pressurized baskets allow you to brew using pre-ground coffee, so there’s no need to purchase a grinder alongside this machine.

Single- and double-shot extraction volumes can be programmed simply by pressing and holding the extraction button until the appropriate amount of espresso has been dispensed, up to 3 oz for a single-shot and 5.4 oz for a double-shot. The chrome-rimmed pressure gauge gives a live reading of brew pressure, which helps you ensure you’re getting a proper extraction. 

The automatic frothing wand can be set to infuse air into the milk, producing fluffy foam for cappuccinos with no barista skills required, or to simply heat milk for non-foamy drinks, like a cafe au lait. 

Raise the drip tray to provide additional height for less splashing when brewing into espresso cups, or remove it for additional clearance when brewing into larger mugs.
