To extend the lifespan of your machine and protect the flavor of your coffee, the 50 oz water reservoir can be fitted with a charcoal water filter to filter up to 82% of impurities. The filter is actively monitored once installed and the coffee maker will alert you to change it once enough pots of coffee have been brewed.

Water is heated rapidly by the stainless steel-lined aluminum heating element. The MG900 can heat up to 10 cups of coffee in less than 7 minutes.
