Bialetti Mini Express Overview
The Mini Express is an intimate stove top coffee maker that brews for two. Designed with the same bottom half as a traditional Bialetti Moka Express with an aluminum carafe, basket, and safety valve. The top half of the Mini Express features a platform for two cups, a nylon grip, and a pair of opposing brew spouts.
To brew, simply fill the carafe with water up to the safety valve, and fill the coffee basket with 11g (or approximately 0.4 oz / 2 heaping teaspoons) of moka grind coffee. Place the Mini Express on the stove to heat. Approximate brewing time is 3 minutes. At the start, a solid stream of coffee will flow from each spout. When the coffee begins to sputter, shut off the stove and move the Mini Express to a cool burner.
